#42885: I send you a error request ([MacPorts] #42808: sudo port install gtk3 +no_x11 +quartz) ------------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: heinrich.adam@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.2.1 Resolution: duplicate | Keywords: Port: freetype | ------------------------------+-------------------------------- Changes (by ryandesign@…): * status: new => closed * cc: ryandesign@… (added) * priority: High => Normal * resolution: => duplicate * port: => freetype Old description:
The answer I recevied (below) was definitely not the solution for the problem : *** The relevant error appears to be:
{{{ :info:configure GNU make (>= 3.80) or makepp (>= 1.19) is required to build FreeType2. }}}
I see you're running OS X 10.9 Mavericks. Have you installed the command line tools by running "`xcode-select --install`"? This is required to use MacPorts on Mavericks. ***
I installed the command line tools, but this is not the relevant error because the errorlog is the same !
I think the relevant error is :
:debug:configure couldn't open
"/System/Library/Frameworks/Tcl.framework/Versions/8.5/Resources/tclIndex":
no such file or directory
because the tclIndex is in the subdirectory : Scripts
What is now the solution for this problem ?

Please continue the conversation in #42808. Please ignore the tclIndex error message; it is unimportant.
