#47329: update: qt5-creator-mac ------------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: rjvbertin@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: update | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: Resolution: | Keywords: Port: qt5-creator-mac | ------------------------------+-------------------------------- Comment (by rjvbertin@…): What I ought to have done I guess is first commit the current/stock port dir to my repository, and then make my changes. That way anyone could see the changes without additional work. Let me see how I can rectify that. As to universal builds: I fully agree where libraries are concerned, for obvious reasons. For rather (and methinks equally) obvious reasons I don't see the point in building an IDE in universal mode, not any more than building vim or any other tool that doesn't install libraries for use by 3rd parties. Digia also no longer supports building in 32 bit mode and if memory serves me well it wasn't overly straightforward to build Qt 5.4 that way. That said, I don't mind removing the disable, and I'll try to help if/when there are building issues, but I don't have the resources to maintain a universal Qt install to test it myself. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/47329#comment:2> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
