#44612: Python error while using pip with py33-virtualenv ---------------------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: charlie.clark@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.1 Resolution: | Keywords: Port: python33 py33-virtualenv | ---------------------------------------+-------------------------------- Comment (by charlie.clark@…): I can confirm that things start to behave themselves if `lib/python3.3`is removed from the relevant virtualenv. In my tox setup I found I also had to remove any relevant binaries that had found their way in from previous work. @nad I'm already using 3.4 as my main Python but 3.3 **is** still being actively maintained and in any case I need to be able to run my tests across a range of platforms. I have, however, dropped support for Python 3.2 -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/44612#comment:4> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
