#37893: No port py24-matplotlib found in the index; can't rebuild ------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: lkelley@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.1.2 Resolution: invalid | Keywords: Port: | ------------------------+-------------------------------- Comment (by lkelley@…): Replying to [comment:1 macsforever2000@…]:
There is no py24-matplotlib. But since you are using python 2.7, you should be using py27-matplotlib anyway.
That IS what I'm using... but, for example: {{{ sudo port install py27-matplotlib dyld: DYLD_ environment variables being ignored because main executable (/usr/bin/sudo) is setuid or setgid ---> Computing dependencies for py27-matplotlib ---> Cleaning py27-matplotlib ---> Scanning binaries for linking errors: 100.0% ---> Found 2 broken file(s), matching files to ports Warning: No port py24-matplotlib found in the index; can't rebuild ---> Broken files found, but all associated ports are not in the index and so cannot be rebuilt. }}} -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/37893#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
