#24562: rtmpdump @2.2 install failure ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Reporter: mirimiri66@… | Owner: captsolo@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.8.2 Keywords: | Port: rtmpdump ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Changes (by ryandesign@…): * cc: ryandesign@… (added) Comment: Replying to [ticket:24562 mirimiri66@…]:
Could be related to #23880 as pointed out by Joshua Root (by e-mail).
Yes, it certainly is. Per #23880, rtmpdump is using the system's openssl instead of MacPorts'. Leopard has openssl 0.9.7, and [http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/rtmpdump/2010-March/000612.html this message] says rtmpdump needs openssl 0.9.8 at least. I did not have any trouble compiling rtmpdump 2.2 on Snow Leopard, which comes with openssl 0.9.8. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/24562#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
