#48675: Associating kde4-kile with .tex files for opening a file by double-clicking ------------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: theufman@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: request | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: MacPorts Future Component: ports | Version: 2.3.3 Keywords: file association | Port: kde4-kile ------------------------------+-------------------------------- I am not able to associate Kile in OS X to open .tex files by default. If I try, two things occur: 1) The change in program association cannot be changed on all files of the same type: (10813 error code) 2) When I click on the single file with the association changed, Kile will open, but the clicked file will not. If I use the command prompt in Terminal, I can pass a filename in as an argument and Kile will open the file. In short, the question I have is this: is it possible to open a file with Kile by clicking on it, rather than either using the command prompt or opening Kile and then using File -> Open? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/48675> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
