#31456: klauncher not working --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Reporter: michaelallenwarner@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.0.3 Keywords: | Port: --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- I know that some 9-10 months ago there was already a ticket (25178) about this problem that was fixed (https://trac.macports.org/ticket/25178), but I'm opening this ticket to report that with much more recently compiled ports w/ my Mac OS X 10.7.1, I'm encountering the same error. I installed kdenlive, and whenever I try to open a file dialog, I get the following error: Could not start process Cannot talk to klauncher: The name org.kde.klauncher was not provided by any .service files. What's strange is that when I tried doing this a few weeks ago, everything was fine and I didn't get the error. I was able to open and save files with kdenlive with no problems. I'm not sure what's changed since then; I haven't messed with any of my MacPorts directories/files. There might have been a Mac security update and/or maybe an OS update, but that's all I can think of offhand. I'm kind of a MacPorts noob -- please let me know if there's any information I can supply that might help fix this problem. If it's happening to me, I imagine it is happening (or will happen) to someone else. Many thanks. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/31456> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
