 I have added the following to the portfile :
 {{{
 platform darwin 8 {
     configure.ldflags-append    \
                                 -lxml2 \
                                 -lintl \
                                 -liconv \
                                 -lz
     configure.args-append       -DCMAKE_OSX_SYSROOT=/
 }
 }}}
 and now I get a new error.
