#33005: Pallet search and menus -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- Reporter: larry.meadors@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.0.3 Keywords: | Port: pallet -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- This is really convoluted...but the only way I can see how to view "installed" and "outdated" packages is to do a search for some string (I chose "dumb"), then alter the search criteria to ignore that search term and just show state=installed and state=outdated. Also, there are a load of useless menus (like help - "Help isn’t available for Pallet.") that are just clutter. The search wouldn't be as annoying if it remembered it's state on start- up, but in it's current state...it's kinda dumb. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/33005> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
