Yeah, on Lion you should get: {{{ % /usr/bin/tar --version bsdtar 2.8.3 - libarchive 2.8.3 }}} We can't offer support if you have modified stuff in /usr/bin.
I understand. Thanks for finding the root cause of the problem.
