#52425: Install of wget fails due to Automake -------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: mwinnall@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.4 Resolution: | Keywords: Port: | -------------------------+-------------------------------- Comment (by ryandesign@…): The log says: {{{ couldn't open "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_devel_automake/automake/work/.macports.automake.state": permission denied }}} Why is permission denied? Are you sure you're using `sudo`? If so, can you try running `sudo port clean automake`, and, if it's still present, manually removing the symlink /opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_devel_automake/automake/work, and then trying again? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/52425#comment:2> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for the Mac operating system
