#13386: upgrade ploticus to 2.33 plus 8 patches -----------------------------------+---------------------------------------- Reporter: andrew@fernandes.org | Owner: macports-tickets@lists.macosforge.org Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Port Updates Component: ports | Version: 1.5.2 Resolution: | Keywords: -----------------------------------+---------------------------------------- Comment (by andrew@fernandes.org): Replying to [comment:1 raimue@macports.org]:
The ''revision'' keyword is reserved for Portfile revisions and should not be used for specifying the version of the software the Portfile provides.
Okay - sure - I didn't know that. However, when I added a ".8" instead to somehow note in the patch level, macports kept giving me weird messages during "outdated" queries. It would print things like "2.33.8 > 2.33.0 ?" or something like that. Those eight patches are quite significant, and are downloaded directly from the ploticus web site, and therefore should be noted somehoe in the version. I can change it to anything you suggest, as the change is trivial in the portfile. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/ticket/13386#comment:2> MacPorts </projects/macports> Ports system for Mac OS
