#49586: bash-completion doesn't always complete in /dev/ ------------------------------+---------------------- Reporter: miken32@… | Owner: raimue@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.4 Resolution: | Keywords: upstream Port: bash-completion | ------------------------------+---------------------- Changes (by raimue@…): * keywords: => upstream Comment: The problem is that the screen completion expects a command if no other options are specified. This was introduced in an [https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/bash-completion/bash- completion.git/commit/?h=976ba448251af67514af323be80fa938ffbe699d upstream commit] in 2011, see also the corresponding [https://alioth.debian.org/tracker/?group_id=100114&atid=413095&func=detail&a... upstream bug report] that caused this change. I just tried the same on a Debian Linux system and it behaves in the same way. This bug is not specific to MacPorts or OS X and should be taken upstream to the bash-completion developers. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49586#comment:2> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
