#37540: rev-upgrade: Error opening or reading file ---------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: kurt@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.1.2 Resolution: | Keywords: rev-upgrade Port: | ---------------------+-------------------------------- Changes (by ryandesign@…): * cc: ryandesign@…, cal@… (added) * keywords: => rev-upgrade Comment: Yes, mysql5 was already successfully installed before the commands you showed us. After you install or upgrade any port, MacPorts then checks the linking of all ports, and reports any problems; this feature is called "rev-upgrade". In this case, no errors were reported ("No broken files found"). Several warnings were reported however, of which I don't quite know what to make. For any of the files where rev-upgrade said "Error opening or reading file" can you identify anything unusual about the file? Can you read it? Are its permissions ok? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/37540#comment:4> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
