Malcolm: Perhaps you are on a network that restricts access to FTP servers.
Jeremy: Any way to change this port's `master_sites` to an http server, since we evidently continue to have problems with FTP servers?
Ryan Attempts to install the Wine port were done on a MacBook Pro wirelessly connected to a 'BT HomeHub' which is directly connected to my telephone line. As far as I can tell I have not previously had any problems downloading from an ftp server. I have installed other ports and have not previously had an ftp problem. (Maybe those ports did not access ftp servers?) As I said I am not a programmer however when I look at the error message(s) I get the feeling that the 'Not found' comment indicates that the ftp server was accessed OK but that the file location was incorrect (or mis-typed). Hope this info helps. Malcolm McGhee -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/47667#comment:4> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
