#52434: Installer stuck on Running Package Scripts on El Capitan 10.11.6 ------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: clykou@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: High | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.4 Keywords: El Capitan | Port: ------------------------+-------------------------------- Hi! I've been trying to install MacPorts 2.3.4 on my new Macbook Air, and it is stuck on the Running Package Scripts screen. I assume that it is trying to download the packages with selfupdate, but despite the fact that I have a good broadband, it is now more than an hour and I cannot tell from the log (attached) whether it has actually downloaded any packages. Any hints? Can I just kill the Installer and try to do the selfupdate through the command line instead? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/52434> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for the Mac operating system
