I've been trying to get in the habit of using path:-style dependencies in general. The way it works is that the dependency is satisfied if either the indicated path exists or the indicated port is installed. I don't care strongly one way or another which style is used in this specific case, but if your concern is that the path:-style will not work with the +system_x11 variant, then I don't think you need to worry about that; I think it will work correctly. I did not fully understand how path:-stye dependencies worked.[[BR]] Thank you for the clarification.
