#43741: cpan fails to install any module -----------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: me@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: Resolution: worksforme | Keywords: Port: perl5 perl5.16 | -----------------------------+-------------------------------- Comment (by mojca@…): I was avoiding `sudo` on purpose. It's probably a different question anyway, but is there a way to make user-installed modules visible to that user only? Should the `@INC` also contain `$HOME/.cpan/whatever/comes/next`? Or is that a security risk in a way / or something that's not really acceptable? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/43741#comment:12> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
