#42403: uhd build failure --------------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: macsforever2000@… | Owner: michaelld@… Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.2.1 Resolution: invalid | Keywords: Port: uhd uhd-devel | --------------------------------+------------------------- Changes (by macsforever2000@…): * status: new => closed * resolution: => invalid Comment: {{{ $ port installed boost The following ports are currently installed: boost @1.55.0_1+gcc48+no_single+no_static+python27 (active) $ otool -L /opt/local/lib/libboost_thread-mt.dylib /opt/local/lib/libboost_thread-mt.dylib: /opt/local/lib/libboost_thread-mt.dylib (compatibility version 0.0.0, current version 0.0.0) /opt/local/lib/libboost_system-mt.dylib (compatibility version 0.0.0, current version 0.0.0) /opt/local/lib/libgcc/libstdc++.6.dylib (compatibility version 7.0.0, current version 7.18.0) /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current version 1197.1.1) /opt/local/lib/libgcc/libgcc_s.1.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current version 1.0.0) }}} So it's because I have +gcc48 in my variants.conf file. I have had that setting for a long time. Something must have changed in boost recently to cause this. Maybe gcc variants were added? Thanks for noticing that. I'll close this as invalid. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/42403#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
