#41937: Cacti port fails on Mavericks ----------------------+----------------------- Reporter: palmj@… | Owner: markd@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.2.1 Resolution: | Keywords: mavericks Port: cacti | ----------------------+----------------------- Changes (by ryandesign@…): * cc: jul_bsd@… (added) Comment: Cacti doesn't require mysql on the local computer at all, does it? It just requires php*-mysql to be able to talk to a mysql server (which needn't be on the same computer). Seems like what the port needs is php variants, and in them a dependency on php*-mysql. Then the only remaining problem is that the instructions would need to be made more generic, since the instructions would not know which mysql binary the user has. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/41937#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
