So far as I can tell, the previous patch I submitted was never accepted. That's fine - hopefully I can at least make this latest version available to crystfel mac users. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/48515#comment:1> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

Are you sure `gtk-doc` is not a dependency anymore?
I was able to build it on my computer. khindenburg pointed out that the docs are now included with the crystfel source, so it seems that gtk-doc is no longer needed. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/48515#comment:4> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

Let's do {{{ sudo port uninstall crystfel and active sudo port -svtk install crystfel port logfile crystfel }}} and upload that main.log, please. You may then `sudo port clean crystfel` N.B.: -t is trace mode, which will deny access to all files installed by ports not listed as dependencies, -k will keep the worksrcdir and logfiles around, -s will always build from source and -v is verbose. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/48515#comment:5> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

Looks good, `gtk-doc` is still "used" opportunistically (well, only checked for, I guess), but a lot of software does that. It's not failing without it, though, so that's probably good enough. Otherwise only the usual candidates. I'm a bit worried about this mpich stuff showing up, including .pc files not installed by any port, but given I don't have mpich installed, it might be okay (unless you installed mpich yourself before into /opt/local, which was a bad idea to begin with...) -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/48515#comment:7> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
