#29228: darwintrace:Update to modern interposing ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Reporter: wsiegrist@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: base | Version: 1.9.2 Keywords: darwintrace trace | Port: ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ There is a new way to do interposing that is more supported/proper. The original [http://darwinbuild.macosforge.org/trac/browser/trunk/darwintrace/darwintrace... darwintrace] from the DarwinBuild project has the DARWINTRACE_INTERPOSE macro which shows how to do it. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/29228> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
#29228: darwintrace:Update to modern interposing --------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: wsiegrist@… | Owner: cal@… Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: base | Version: 1.9.2 Resolution: | Keywords: darwintrace Port: | --------------------------+------------------------- Changes (by cal@…): * keywords: darwintrace trace => darwintrace * owner: macports-tickets@… => cal@… Comment: I assume this still applies even with the major changes in darwintrace I've made? Are there any limitations to which functions can be interposed? I assume we can skip setting DYLD_FORCE_FLAT_NAMESPACE=1 when using interposing? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/29228#comment:1> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
