#26250: Request for arm-none-eabi-gdb -----------------------------+---------------------------------------------- Reporter: tcwan@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: request | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.1 Keywords: | Port: -----------------------------+---------------------------------------------- Comment(by tcwan@…): I'm new to the whole Portfile environment, this version was hacked from the avr-gdb portfile + gdb 7.1_0 Portfiles. However, there is a file installation conflict with arm-elf-gcc where /opt/local/lib/x86_64/libiberty.a was installed by arm-elf-gcc and will also be installed by the gdb install. I'm not sure if libiberty.a is needed by gdb (or even arm-elf-gcc) or not. I don't know how to fix this part. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/26250#comment:1> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

After uninstall arm-elf-gcc, the arm-non-eabi-gdb Portfile seems to work ok with my local arm-non-eabi-gcc install (which installed /opt/local/lib/x86_64/libiberty.a). No idea why it works this time. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/26250#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
