However, almost no plugin was yet updated to recognize this version, including the popular [https://bugs.launchpad.net/bzrtools/+bug/1547121 bzrtools]. Other distributions just gave up and [https://sources.debian.net/src/bzrtools/2.6.0-3/debian/patches/02_version_ch... removed the version check]. However, that move the responsibility to the maintainer. The bzr ecosystems seems abandoned and the upstream projects largely ignore the problem.
