If you do please do so first disabling ROOT own internal checks for fink/MacPorts installation, by passing the option --disable-fink (yes, thats the right one, it does both....). If that works, then please try with --enable-fink. Problem solved. I had libGLEW.dylib from MacPorts, and a variant made for the mac framework, not to work with x11. Changing this with
`sudo port install glew +x11`
seems to have fixed
