#36406: expat: checksum mismatch because HTML file ---------------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: jacqueline.singh@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.1.2 Resolution: | Keywords: Port: expat | ---------------------------------+-------------------------------- Changes (by ryandesign@…): * cc: jacqueline.singh@… (removed) Comment: The fact that we have no packages for any ports on Mountain Lion, and you therefore get a 404 for that, is not the problem. The problem is that, failing a pre-copiled binary, MacPorts tries to download the source and build it on your system. But the source it downloaded was not source but HTML. What server did that HTML come from? Your log does not tell us. What does the HTML contain? You could `cat` or attach the file /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/expat/expat-2.1.0.tar.gz; that might tell us more about what we need to do to fix it. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/36406#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Looks like SourceForge JavaScript. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/36406#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Thanks. I'll look into adjusting the list of SourceForge mirrors. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/36406#comment:5> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
