#32111: port https://sourceforge.net/projects/procps/ ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Reporter: pengyu.ut@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: request | Status: closed Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: Resolution: invalid | Keywords: Port: procps | ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Changes (by ryandesign@…): * status: new => closed * version: 2.0.3 => * resolution: => invalid * port: => procps Comment: I don't believe this is possible. I believe procps relies on the existence of /proc, and /proc does not exist on OS X. The readme for procps says "This code is intended for use with Linux 2.2.xx, 2.4.xx, 2.6.xx, and hopefully all future kernels." OS X does not use a Linux kernel. If you have evidence that procps does actually compile and work on OS X, please let us know. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/32111#comment:1> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
