Either openjdk6_bootstrap should be updated to contain universal binaries, or to use the correct binaries for the machine's architecture, or if that cannot be done, then openjdk6_bootstrap should exit with a fatal error message when used on PowerPC (see the wine port for code which you can copy to emit such a message).
