Description from [http://www.gpleda.org/ their page]: ---- The gEDA project has produced and continues working on a full GPL'd suite and toolkit of Electronic Design Automation tools. These tools are used for electrical circuit design, schematic capture, simulation, prototyping, and production. There have been Fink packages[http://www.ghz.cc/charles/fink/]. But I have given up on fink in general for being outdated. Trying to get gEDA [http://www.gpleda.org/sources.html] to build has been a nightmare so far (not helped that I am relative novice at this). As far as I can figure it's because it uses GTK+, which appears nontrivial. Have tried gtk-osx, but it's not quite working with gEDA.
