py27-gobject should probably be updated to 2.28.6. Here is a patch that seems to work.
py26-gobject and py25-gobject should be updated at the same time, if those versions of python are still compatible with this version of py- gobject.
Updated all three in r101334. The [http://www.daa.com.au/pipermail/pygtk/2011-March/019501.html pygobject 2.28.0 release notes] say python 2.5.1 or greater is required. (I couldn't locate release notes for any newer 2.28.x version.)
Ideally, all the py*-gobject ports would be unified.
I had not realized that py*-gobject ports aren't even using the old pythonXX portgroups, they're just doing everything manually, so I'll postpone unifying them. But [browser:trunk/dports/python/py- gobject3/Portfile py-gobject3] is unified, and could perhaps serve as a template for how it could be done for py-gobject. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/37538#comment:1> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
