[MacPorts] #43797: port definitions are more than two weeks old
#43797: port definitions are more than two weeks old ------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: jsbfan@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.2.1 Keywords: selfupdate | Port: ------------------------+-------------------------------- After running port selfupdate and port upgrade outdated, I get the message "Warning: port definitions are more than two weeks old, consider updating them by running 'port selfupdate'. Nothing to upgrade." I have read all the posts and all the old tickets I could find regarding this issue, and still I haven't come across the solution. I have run port clean, I have uninstalled and reinstalled all ports. I am at a loss as to what I can do. I have Mac OS X 10.8.5. Thanks for any help. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/43797> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

It seems there's a connection problem to the macports servers from your location. Please edit your `$prefix/etc/macports/sources.conf` and choose one of our official Portfile mirrors (see wiki:Mirrors) or contact your mirror administrators and ask them to fix the issue. Since you apparently also changed your source tree mirror, please fix that as well (it should be defined in `$prefix/etc/macports/macports.conf`) to avoid problems when 2.3.0 is released. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/43797#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
