I haven't read the GALAHAD license yet, and I am not a lawyer, but what aspect of it do you believe would be problematic for MacPorts? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/39388#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

The current code base can be browsed here: http://ccpforge.cse.rl.ac.uk/gf/project/galahad/scmsvn/?action=browse&path=%... See `doc/README.cou`. The user must now be "employed" by the listed institutions (Clause 3). The user can't allow anyone else to use the software (Clause 6a). The software can't be incorporated or embedded in any other product (clause6c). The user shall not cause the software to be brought into disrepute (Clause 8). I'm not a lawyer, and conditions like these do nothing to inspire me to become one. On the positive side, the code can be downloaded without registration via svn. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/39388#comment:4> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

It's a little bit of extra effort, but it works... -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/39388#comment:6> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
