[MacPorts] #49906: blitz-devel: mercurial fetch fails on all buildbots
#49906: blitz-devel: mercurial fetch fails on all buildbots ----------------------------+-------------------------- Reporter: devans@… | Owner: ryandesign@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: server/hosting | Version: Keywords: | Port: blitz-devel ----------------------------+-------------------------- Attempts to build blitz-devel on the buildbots fail during fetch from the mercurial repository. Fetches on my local machine are successful. Mercurial uses port 8000. Is this blocked? See log at https://build.macports.org/builders/buildports-mavericks- x86_64/builds/15083/steps/compile/logs/stdio/text. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49906> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
#49906: open port 8000 on buildbot builders for mercurial / hg cloning -----------------------------+--------------------- Reporter: devans@… | Owner: admin@… Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: server/hosting | Version: Resolution: | Keywords: Port: | -----------------------------+--------------------- Changes (by ryandesign@…): * owner: ryandesign@… => admin@… * type: defect => enhancement * port: blitz-devel => Comment: According to our documentation, the buildbot builders only have ports 80 (http), 443 (https), 3690 (svn) and 9418 (git) open. It looks like we should open 8000 as well because that's apparently the default for mercurial. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49906#comment:1> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

In fact, you can drop that port number entirely since sourceforge actually runs on port 80 and redirects. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49906#comment:4> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
