#36457: Compiling and building on osx mlion -----------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: ooze.13@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.1.2 Keywords: | Port: -----------------------+-------------------------------- Dear all, i got the last release of Macports, and osx m-lion updated; i fondo that in really slow to compile and build everything that i try to port. Atm I'm installing ghc and it's taking ages, like 2 hours. I just wanna understand if is a problem with the compiler on Xcode, or with my Mac whatsoever. I use a MacBook 2ghz i7 with 4gb of RAM Thanks in advance -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/36457> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Please wait longer. We will eventually have a Mountain Lion buildbot which should eliminate the need for you to compile many of the ports yourself. See #35397. We already have buildbots for Snow Leopard and Lion. The issue tracker is for bug reports and feature requests.
