This is important because many features are not available in the 4.2.x branch (e.g. zooming in 2D plots). -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/21818> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

For now the port-file takes automatically the latest version, but one could easily specify a specific version from a given date using the cvs.date command, see [http://guide.macports.org/#reference.phases.fetch.cvs]. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/21818#comment:4> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Sorry, I did not understand that your comment was rather a requirement than a question. However, in the mean time the release of the next stable version is to be expected very soon (a RC is already available). I suggest to close this ticket and wait for the final release of 4.4. I will open a new ticket, if necessary. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/21818#comment:6> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
