Unfortunately, I can't simply abandon it, since some apps I use rely on it. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/18113#comment:4> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

DB 4.5 was living in /usr/local. I have removed it, and hopefully all is now well. (I hope removing it doesn't break anything else.) -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/18113#comment:5> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

DB 4.5 was installed in /usr/local as part of an old build of svn. Ooops! Since 10.5 includes svn, I removed that build, and all is well again. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/18113#comment:6> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
