#25274: tightvnc: cannot start vnc server --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Reporter: ribe@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.0 Keywords: | Port: tightvnc --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Comment(by ryandesign@…): Since the tightvnc port has no maintainer, you may have to work directly with the developers of tightvnc on this one. If we need to change something in the port to make this work, let us know. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/25274#comment:5> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
#25274: tightvnc: cannot start vnc server ---------------------------+------------------------------------------------ Reporter: ribe@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.0 Resolution: worksforme | Keywords: Port: tightvnc | ---------------------------+------------------------------------------------ Changes (by jmr@…): * status: new => closed * resolution: => worksforme Comment: Seems to work fine if you run vncserver as recommended rather than running Xvnc directly. You do need to set up the config file to set the font path and so on. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/25274#comment:6> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
