[MacPorts] #21314: sudo locks up Terminal.app until reboot
#21314: sudo locks up Terminal.app until reboot --------------------------------+------------------------------------------- Reporter: macports@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.8.0 Keywords: | Port: sysutils/sudo --------------------------------+------------------------------------------- I've just done an upgrade to Snow Leopard, and completely reinstalled my ports (using manual method from Migration). It fails for me still. I'm using sudoers from /etc/sudoers, and /var/run/sudo is there, so that is not the problem either. (I've tried reopening #20907 but I'm not allowed to) -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/21314> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

When compiled as warned, it still hangs. Epoch++ and revert to the newest of the 1.6 branch. r59431 -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/21314#comment:6> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

I'll bump the port version to the newest 1.7.x release in a minute and test it out. I'm hesitant to bump it to the 1.8.x series without much more testing than I can afford right now. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/21314#comment:10> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

I'll check my changes in, but please do try the new version and let me know if it works or not for you. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/21314#comment:11> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
