Hello, I'm using a mid 2009 13' inch Macbook Pro, OSX 10.11.3, and Xcode 7.1.1 (Build version 7B1005)

I suffered a similar error to [https://trac.macports.org/ticket/50486] when configuring Qgis, I was getting the following error in main.log:

{{{ :info:configure CMake Error at cmake/QCAMacros.cmake:64 (message): :info:configure QCA OpenSSL plugin not found (run-time/unit-test dependency) }}}

After installing qca-ossl and cleaning Qqis it configured fine, however the building step failed. The main.log file said:
