#48617: pulseaudio @6.0_9: error: unknown type name 'Point' -------------------------+--------------------- Reporter: wdc@… | Owner: ionic@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.3 Resolution: | Keywords: Port: pulseaudio | -------------------------+--------------------- Changes (by ryandesign@…): * cc: das.traveller@… (added) Comment: Has duplicate #49205. "Point" is a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_(API) Carbon] type. Carbon has been dead for years and was never made available for 64-bit systems. pulseaudio should not be using Carbon anymore. Looks like [http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/PulseAudio/ pulseaudio 7.0 has been released]. Maybe updating the port to that version would help. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/48617#comment:4> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
#48617: pulseaudio @6.0_9: error: unknown type name 'Point' -------------------------+--------------------- Reporter: wdc@… | Owner: ionic@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.3 Resolution: | Keywords: Port: pulseaudio | -------------------------+--------------------- Comment (by ionic@…): ACK. Will have to rebase the patches so this might take a while... Actually, I don't think PA itself is using Carbon, but GTK+ - AFAIK the user is using +quartz. Maybe there's a deeper problem. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/48617#comment:5> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
