#26257: php5-5.3.3_1 - Upgrading requires Eaccelerator Reinstall ---------------------------+------------------------------------------------ Reporter: rcj@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.1 Keywords: | Port: php5 ---------------------------+------------------------------------------------ Upgraded from php 5.3.2 to 5.3.3 today and noticed that I was getting this error in the logs: {{{ [eAccelerator] This build of "eAccelerator" was compiled for PHP version 5.3.2. Rebuild it for your PHP version (5.3.3) or download precompiled binaries. }}} Removing & Reinstalling php5-eaccelerator fixed the issue, but it looks like the php5 Portfile might need to do this when upgrading. #26257: php5-eaccelerator needs update following php5 5.3.3 update -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- Reporter: rcj@… | Owner: ryandesign@… Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.1 Resolution: fixed | Keywords: Port: php5 php5-eaccelerator | -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- Changes (by ryandesign@…): * status: new => closed * resolution: => fixed Comment: There is no mechanism in MacPorts that would allow the php5 port to effect an update of php5-eaccelerator. So the maintainer of php5 (me) will just need to remember to increase the revision of php5-eaccelerator whenever php5 is updated. In r70937 I added a note to the php5 port to remind me of that for future updates. In r70938 I updated php5-eaccelerator to version 0.9.6.1. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/26257#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
