#29045: sshfs-gui fails to install after successful build -----------------------------------+---------------------------------------- Reporter: davidomundo@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.2 Keywords: | Port: sshfs-gui -----------------------------------+---------------------------------------- I'm on the latest 2011 Macbook Pro (64-bit kernel). I'm attaching /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports .org_release_ports_fuse_sshfs-gui/main.log The log says "** BUILD SUCCEEDED **", but then fails to copy the files. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/29045> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

In particular, the current stable version of macfuse, the one that's in macports, does not work on the 64-bit kernel. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/29045#comment:1> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Perhaps this is addressed now by the existence of fuse4x (uninstall macfuse if present, install fuse4x, then clean and install sshfs-gui). -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/29045#comment:6> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Even if I did that it would not work because macfuse is a dependency of sshfs -- unless I can build sshfs and sshfs-gui with fuse4x there is no way I can do what you suggest -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/29045#comment:9> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
