#14889: Not installing fullly? ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Reporter: jus10mar10@gmail.com | Owner: macports-tickets@lists.macosforge.org Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.6.0 Keywords: Command Not Found | ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- I have just installed XCode 2.4.1 and the Tiger version of MacPorts. I have had X11 installed for a while as well. When I open terminal and try anything Sudo Port it says Sudo: Port: Command not Found. If I only do a Port command, it says -Bash Port: Command Not Found. Is MacPorts not installing fully? -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/ticket/14889> MacPorts </projects/macports> Ports system for Mac OS
#14889: Not installing fullly? -----------------------------------+---------------------------------------- Reporter: jus10mar10@gmail.com | Owner: macports-tickets@lists.macosforge.org Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: Normal | Milestone: MacPorts base bugs Component: base | Version: 1.6.0 Resolution: fixed | Keywords: Command Not Found -----------------------------------+---------------------------------------- Changes (by jmr@macports.org): * status: new => closed * resolution: => fixed * component: ports => base * milestone: => MacPorts base bugs Comment: This is a known issue with the installer (it's meant to add /opt/local/bin to your PATH environment variable), and it is fixed for the next release. In the meantime, you can download and run [http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/browser/branches/release_1_6/ba... this script]. Upgrading to XCode 2.5 is also recommended BTW, though not required. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/ticket/14889#comment:1> MacPorts </projects/macports> Ports system for Mac OS
