[MacPorts] #44128: jmol-14.0.13 update to 14.2.0_2014.06.13 (current stable version)
#44128: jmol-14.0.13 update to 14.2.0_2014.06.13 (current stable version) ---------------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: p.bro@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: update | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: Keywords: haspatch maintainer | Port: jmol ---------------------------------+-------------------------------- Attached patch upgrades jmol to the current stable version 14.2.0_2014.06.13 (new features, and some bug fixes, according to [ http://sourceforge.net/projects/jmol/files/Jmol/Version%2014.2/Version%2014....]). Starting with version 14.0.17_2014.06.09, the version number format of jmol changes from major.middle.minor to major.middle.minor_year.month.day. [http://sourceforge.net/p/jmol/mailman/jmol-users/thread /CAF_YUvX3ArFAa30tjdCL- iWH8J328RF9e4%2BHrT6fkDB8iJ%2B9Dg%40mail.gmail.com/#msg32441558 According to the developer] this is "... to be able to upload nightly/weekly changes without advancing the minor version number." The master site format stays unchanged. I accommodated this change by introducing a variable $release, which isolates the old major.middle.minor version number needed for the master site. I also adjusted the livecheck regex to look for this version name. If this is not the way to go, please do let me know. Works on an iMac running 10.9.3 on a dual core i5. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/44128> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
#44128: jmol-14.0.13 update to 14.2.0_2014.06.13 (current stable version) ----------------------+--------------------------------- Reporter: p.bro@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: update | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: Resolution: | Keywords: haspatch maintainer Port: jmol | ----------------------+--------------------------------- Comment (by p.bro@…): As this bug sat around for a week (and I unfortunately lacked the time to follow it up), it has been made obsolete by the newest jmol release. Could somebody please: * update the bug title to ''jmol-14.0.13 update to 14.2.2_2014.06.29''. * have a look at the way I'm now treating the new version number format. * validate and apply the patch submitted. As for the new patch: It upgrades jmol to the current stable version 14.2.2_2014.06.29, which, compared to 14.0.13, contains new features and some bug fixes acording to [http://sourceforge.net/projects/jmol/files/Jmol/Version%2014.2/Version%2014....]. It works on an iMac running 10.9.3 on a dual core i5. Thank you! -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/44128#comment:1> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
