Initially, "port" complained about a checksum mismatch. After switching to Google's public DNS service (as suggested at "https://trac.macports.org/wiki/MisbehavingServers") the problem persisted. Here is the error from the second run, after updating /etc/resolv.conf and running "$ sudo port clean --dist cfengine3".
