#23625: Get error that newer version is installed. ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Reporter: garthurross@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.8.2 Keywords: | Port: ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ I have successfully installed WINE on my iMac (2009) but when launching a program it errors "fixme:menubuilder:SaveIconResAsXPM Unsupported color depth 32-bit wine: Module not found". Searching the internet it seems I need to install WineTricks which requires DarwinPorts 1.7.0. When I attempt to install it says a newer version is installed. I was required to install MacPorts 1.8.2 in order to install WINE. I don't know if this is what the installation is referring to or not. It asks to overwrite the newer one. I can't have both, can I? If I ignore the DarwinPorts 1.7.0 install error & moce on to install WineTricks I get this: cd /opt/local/bin/portslocation/dports/winetricks -bash: cd: /opt/local/bin/portslocation/dports/winetricks: No such file or directory This is true as I cannot fine a portslocation folder. Kinda lost here. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/23625> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

We do not run that site, it is run by a domain squatter who collects email addresses and asks for money, and we advise you not to rely on any information given there. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/23625#comment:1> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
