[MacPorts] #19188: New: rtmpdump-1.4 port
#19188: New: rtmpdump-1.4 port ----------------------------------------+----------------------------------- Reporter: captsolo@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Port Submissions Component: ports | Version: 1.7.1 Keywords: rtmpdump "streaming media" | Port: rtmpdump ----------------------------------------+----------------------------------- rtmpdump is simple tool for downloading media content streamed over the RTMP protocol. Supplying an rtmp url will result in a dumped flv file, which can be played/transcoded using ffmpeg/mplayer, etc. http://sourceforge.net/projects/rtmpdump/ Note: a helper script for downloading BBC iplayer streams is included with the source but I did not know if and where to install such script. hence this port currently only installs the rtmpdump binary. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/19188> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Fixed. Also added a "+nodebug" variant which hides some of debug messages when downloading (only some messages get hidden, though, because the original source code often ignores its NODEBUG variable). Still, it is a useful option to have. P.S. You correctly assumed I did not check `port lint`. However, when I ran it now on the old version of Portfile, there were not errors or warnings reported. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/19188#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
