Maybe I need to use MacPorts' "tar"? This command works nicely on 10.11 and 10.12 using the OS provided /usr/bin/ gzip and tar ... hmmm ... -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/52518#comment:1> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for the Mac operating system

#52518: SDRplay: This does not look like a tar archive ---------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: ryandesign@… | Owner: michaelld@… Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.4 Resolution: fixed | Keywords: Port: SDRplay | ---------------------------+------------------------- Changes (by michaelld@…): * status: new => closed * resolution: => fixed Comment: Yes, using /usr/bin/tar works on 10.6+, and since this port won't work for 10.5- this is no longer needed. It was fixed by luck and assigning this port to x86_64 only. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/52518#comment:3> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for the Mac operating system
