[MacPorts] #29746: boost +universal requires zlib +universal
#29746: boost +universal requires zlib +universal -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Reporter: segala@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.2 Keywords: | Port: -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- I needed to install boost in the universal (x86_64 and i386) variant. It immediately noticed that the ports bzip2 and expat I had installed were not universal, and so it recompiled it. However, I had single-arch zlib too, and thus the compilation failed (the linker thrown an error saying couldn't find required symbols for i386 in zlib). Running "port install zlib+universal" fixed the issue. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/29746> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
