#26509: gst-plugins-bad fails to build vpx plugin ------------------------------------------+--------------------------------- Reporter: ianshowalter@… | Owner: rmstonecipher@… Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.1 Resolution: fixed | Keywords: Port: gst-plugins-bad | ------------------------------------------+--------------------------------- Changes (by rmstonecipher@…): * status: new => closed * resolution: => fixed Comment: Ian,[[br]] Because gst-plugins-bad did not explicitly depend upon libvpx, I could not reproduce your error - no other port had installed libvpx, so gst-plugins- bad did not detect it during configure and disabled the vpx plugin automatically.[[br]] I recently installed a port which depends upon libvpx and observed the problem you described when upgrading gst-plugins-bad to 0.10.22.[[br]] Joshua Root helped me identify the source of the problem, which was fixed in r78724 by enabling position-independent-code in libvpx.[[br]] Feel free to re-open this ticket if the problem persists after upgrading libvpx to 0.9.6_1.[[br]][[br]] Cheers,[[br]] Ryan Stonecipher -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/26509#comment:5> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
